The Head Chef would be responsible for and lead a small team of cooks and kitchen staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Cooks for our guests (20 guests at Full Camp) at 5-star level and our staff members according to the meal plan.
- Presents and introduces new meal ideas.
- Responsible for food & beverage management - purchasing, hygiene, stock management.
- Optimal use of food stocks (compliance with budget targets).
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen.
- At least 5 years of experience as Head Chef in a comparable position at a 5-star level.
- Familiar with the requirements of HACCP standards.
- Attention to detail and puts the wishes of the guests first and is ready to go the extra mile.
- Honest personality with integrity who likes to work in a team - No hierarchical thinking.
- Willingness to help out in other areas of the Lodge in exceptional situations.
Experience required: Between 5 - 7 years.
