What you'lldo
As Finance Data Manager,you'll be accountable for the delivery and integrity of monthly,quarterly and annual financial information, including balancesheet, profit and loss account, and internal and externalreporting. You'll also be ensuring that a robust AWS data platformcontrol framework is established that is compliant with internalpolicies and regulatorystandards.
Along with this,you'll act as a key partner as you proactively contribute todecision making on complex or specialist issues, demonstratingjudgement and a thorough understanding of Risk and Financedata.
Day to day,you'll:
- Provideassurance on Risk and Finance data to enable sign-off of internalreturns and external disclosures
- Providea high-quality Risk and Finance data service to Risk and Financefunctions that includes explanations, investigations, guidance anddata quality MI
- Maintain the logic betweenRisk & Finance Data Product and Data Marts with tightlycontrolled ownership of the AWS data transformationrules
- Act as an internal customerrelationship manager and effectively maintain relationships withstakeholders
- Complete value-added reporting andanalysis to meet our customers' needs
- Work withthe team and centres of excellence to standardise processes andoutputs and to undertake continuous improvementactivity
Theskills you'll need
To succeedin this role, you'll bring a wealth of knowledge and experience infinancial control, preferably gained within financial services.You'll have worked in a global context and will have the ability tobuild and maintain strong working relationships with a variety ofstakeholders in a changing environment. You'll also have anunderstanding of data and tools used to provide effective solutionsto complex problems. Holding a professional accountingqualification or having significant relevant experience in place ofthis is beneficial but notessential.
