Job Descriptions: As a Sales Manager in South Africa, your responsibilities include:
- Driving new client acquisition and growing incremental revenue by engaging with a targeted list of high-potential agencies and advertisers.
- Building and maintaining a pipeline of clients and agencies to onboard to the Microsoft Advertising platform.
- Collaborating with internal teams (Account Managers and Strategy teams) to develop customer plans aimed at revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Cultivating strategic client relationships , generating revenue, and delivering customized search solutions.
Success will be measured by :
- Meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) focused on:
- New customer acquisition.
- Product adoption.
- Enhancing customer experience.
- Optimizing opportunities.
Eligibility:
- 6+ years of work experience with 3+ years of online media sales/digital advertising experience
- Strong network of clientele in the South African marketplace and an understanding of the key digital players (Brands, agencies etc.)
- Experience and ability to build a client base from scratch.
- Experience in lead generation, networking, and ad-agency relationship management.
- Possess excellent communication skills providing transparency and enabling information radiators
- Travel across markets to meet and strengthen partnerships with new and existing clients.
Preferred:
- Search Engine Marketing Experience
- Understanding of the Digital Ecosystem
- Ad-Agency Experience
