Bring your enthusiasm and make an impact As the Bookkeeper you will be responsible for the below: Accurately entering all financial data such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments into accounting software. Organizing and updating the companys general ledger to ensure all accounts are balanced. Comparing and adjusting the records to match bank transactions for accurate financial reporting. Managing and recording supplier invoices, verifying details, and scheduling payments. Tracking and managing the money that is owed to or by the company, ensuring timely payments and receipts. Preparing financial reports: Creating financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensuring employees are paid on time and accurately and handling associated payroll taxes. Keeping records of tax filings and ensuring that the company complies with local, state, and federal tax laws. Keeping track of a company's cash inflows and outflows to maintain healthy cash management. Providing accurate financial data and support to auditors during internal or external audits. Job Experience and Skills Required: Completed BCom Honours in Accounting and related field. 5 years experience in a similar role in finance.
