Busy upmarket Restaurant in Sandton is looking for a Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef. Applicants must have 4 or more years’ chef and kitchen management experience. Must have strong general knowledge of food and of general kitchen management procedures. Main duties will include:
- Stock control
- Stock ordering
- Variances
- Food costing
- Quality control
- Staff management
- General kitchen administration
Looking for someone with a passion for food and who can efficiently run a busy kitchen. This is mainly a management role with some cooking responsibilities. Salary R 8 – 10 K net depending on experience & qualifications.
