Building Manager Wanted - Fixed Term Contract Your new company A prestigious educational estate in Manchester is looking for a building manager on a fixed-term contract to join their in-house facilities team. Your new role This role will involve utilising the university staff and subcontractors to provide the full facilities services for the campus. This includes cleaning, security, caretaking, landscaping, capital development and maintenance, mail services, office moves and front of house. Your direct responsibilities will include: - Managing the delivery of all hard and soft services in your building - Take ownership for the presentation of working areas and open space - Develop customer relationships to support service delivery - Directly supervise the delivery staff - Manage the resources, stock and financials for your building - Support the key objectives of the estates and facilities What you'll need to succeed - Experience in facilities management, ideally in public sector estates - Previous experience in a building manager or service delivery capacity - Strong customer service skills - Knowledge of H&S and compliance in managed buildings What you'll get in return 28-33k FTC with possibility to go permanent What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
