I am currently recruiting a Head of Finance for a growing business in Bedfordshire. This role will be the number two in finance to provide support across all areas of finance and managing the team.You Will:Lead and manage the full finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and complianceOversee the preparation and consolidation of group financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reportsEnsure adherence to accounting policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.Manage and mentor a team of qualified and part and non-qualified finance professionalsProvide strategic financial leadership and support to the CFO and senior management teamDevelop and implement robust financial controls and processes to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and drive performance improvements.Lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely completion.Support the CFO in investor relations activities and presentations.Drive initiatives to enhance financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilitiesYou Have:ACA or ACCA qualifiedProven experience in a group finance roleDemonstrated management experience, with the ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team of finance professionalsStrong technical accounting skills and thorough knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAPAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutionsFor more information about this role and to discuss in more detail, please click to apply or email Emily.Roberts@jss-finance.com for more information.
