I am currently recruiting for a broad Finance Manager position to join a highly profitable and recognised business based in Bedfordshire.In this role you will report directly to the Finance Director to ensure the business is adhering to strong financial controls and towards the achievement of business objectives. As part of this role you will manage a team to ensure the delivery of work.You will:Have day to day management of a small teamOwn all aspects of financial reporting including month end, flash management accounts and monthly management accounts with variance analysisDevelop and maintain controls and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial managementPrepare the cashflow forecast with variance analysisReview payment runs and set up of payment files within the bankAssist in all statutory deadlines including managing the year end audit processWork alongside non-finance teams on a monthly basis, providing robust challenge to any movementsAssist in the preparation of the monthly board packAssist in the preparation of the monthly forecastAssist in the preparation of the annual budget packBe involved in ad-hoc project workYou have:Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or overseas equivalent)Some post-qualified experience within an accounting or financial management roleStrong communication skills (with both finance & non-finance)Strong Excel SkillsThis role is a hybrid role with 4 days per week required in the office in Bedfordshire.For more information on this fantastic opportunity within a growing organisation please click to apply contact me at emily.roberts@jss-finance.com for a confidential conversation today!
