Electrical Integration Design Engineer – Portsmouth HQ – up to £40k + Benefits An opportunity for either a talented Apprentice that’s come to the end of their Apprenticeship and is looking for a new challenge or a service leaver operating at either Leading Hand or Petty Officer working as a Weapons Engineer or Electrical Engineer has arisen to work for a global Defence client with HQ’s based around the U.K. The successful candidate will ideally be leaving the service within 1-4 months (Latest leave date January 2025).What are we looking for in the successful candidate?Electrical Systems knowledgeAble to interpret and apply Electrical Design standardsHNC in Electrical Engineering/Systems Engineer education minimumAny experience with Foran, AutoCAD and/or Electrical System integration would be a bonusKey responsibilities Produce Integration design solutionsLiase with end customers and other partners through the design processTake part in ship surveys as/when requiredConfigure and maintain ship databases for electrical power distributionDue to the nature of the project, the successful candidate must be a sole British national and be eligible for security clearance and be willing/able to be based onsite in Portsmouth fulltime for an induction period and then will move to hybrid remote after this period.In addition to your basic salary, you’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave incentive and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
