Location: Riverhorse Valley, Durban
Salary: R15,000 - R24,000 CTC (depending on experience)
Benefits: Company vehicle, cell/data allowance (up to R600), productivity-based incentives.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Overtime: Paid overtime for after-hours or weekend services/breakdowns, as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Service, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of catering and industrial kitchen equipment. This includes.
Diagnose issues and carry out repairs independently and as part of a team.
Handle breakdowns and installations, including after-hours or weekend services when necessary, particularly in restaurant environments.
Participate in regular training workshops to stay updated on new equipment and technologies.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualified Electrician or Refrigeration Technician.
At least 4 years of directly related experience in the catering and industrial kitchen equipment industry, with expertise in gas, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
Strong problem-solving and technical abilities.
Good customer orientation and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and passport.
Willingness to travel for client visits and breakdowns
Additional Information:
A company vehicle will be provided once the technician is trained and ready for fieldwork.
Cell phone costs can be claimed up to R600 per month.
Incentives are offered based on charged-out hours and other productivity metrics.
