Responsibilities
- Keep up to date with the latest trends in digital marketing and how they relate to paid search advertising and media.
- Be well versed in brand safety and viewability, implementing the required controls to protect our client’s brands.
- Interpret data from digital marketing platforms to optimize and provide actionable insights and recommendations for better campaign performance.
- Attend training sessions and/or events as determined by your line manager and/or the Mindshare management team.
- Maintain any certifications as outlined by your line manager and/or the Mindshare management team.
- Understand how digital marketing fits into the media mix and the relationships between digital and other types of media.
- Conduct audience, keyword, placement, and platform research to inform clients' paid media strategies.
Operations
- Implement and optimize end-to-end Google campaigns across all major platforms (Google Ads, Display, DV360, etc.) while keeping up to date with any changes made to these platforms.
- Understand various ad formats and targeting options offered by major platforms, how they achieve client objectives, and how to implement them.
- Produce useful and accurate reporting on all digital marketing activity as required by company processes, clients, and/or your client management team.
- Manage and control client spends diligently in line with company processes across all Google channels.
- Ensure that all digital marketing campaigns meet internal performance requirements linked to client key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Have an in-depth knowledge of company systems and processes related to digital media and apply them in day-to-day activities, helping to refine and improve these processes where possible.
- Leverage relationships with Google to assist in the setup and/or optimization of client campaigns/accounts.
Clients and Internal Teams
- Effectively manage stakeholder relationships by ensuring expectations are appropriately defined and managed.
- Maintain a sustainable positive relationship with clients and internal teams.
- Review customer feedback and take positive steps to address concerns.
- Attend client meetings/events as required and communicate effectively with clients over email, IM, or phone when needed.
- Work with your account team to ensure compliance with customer-defined service level agreements and performance standards.
- Contribute to the development of customer Service Level Agreements, service reviews, customer feedback, and customer service initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong written, verbal, and presenting skills.
- Excellent copywriting and grammar skills.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Marketing background with an emphasis on digital and paid media/advertising.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Self-motivated and organized with a keen eye for detail.
- Works well individually and in a team.
- Extensive experience with B2C clients.
- Knowledge of HTML and User Experience (UX) is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO is a plus.
- Experience with Google Ads Editor is a plus.
- Experience on GMP Suite and/or certifications.
