We are looking for someone who has experience in deal/lead generation and is adept at working at the early stages of deal development as well as supporting pipeline management.The principal responsibilities will be:the proactive identification and assessment of potential target investment companiesMapping & researching markets relevant to a client's acquisition criteriaHighlighting potential targets & shareholders and assessing their fit for the client Preparing M&A prospect reports highlighting key characteristicsLeading the outreach to prospective targets, supporting the lead advisor throughoutSupport deal team with research and meeting preparationMeeting prospective clients / business ownersMaintaining databases to support overall business performanceInvolvement in various aspects of a transaction, with extensive interaction with clientsProvision of research information to support transaction executionPreparation of presentations for management team meetingindividual company analysis and research of selected target companies including financial, strategic and competitor analysisWhat you'll need;Knowledge of deal origination/business development is highly desirableEvidence of academic achievement – a degree is strongly preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organisational skills including prioritisation, scheduling, and time managementAbility to work independently and as a team playerTo be considered you must be of graduate calibre with strong commercial skills.
