As our National Key Account Manager, you will be instrumental in executing our strategy across key product lines in South Africa. This role involves working closely with senior management to support business growth initiatives and actively engage with major accounts to ensure their success and satisfaction.
Key Interfaces:
- Business Head for the country or region (Director)
- Marketing Director and commercial teams (Sales, BD) in all parts of the region
- External stakeholders: distributors, retailers, and other business partners/customers
Main Accountabilities:
- Support the design and execution of short-mid-long term development strategy for the region, focusing on key metrics and P&L to drive business growth via key digital and offline channels
- Innovate and plan for growth by collaborating with the management team to align regional initiatives with our long-term vision
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for new business, coordinating with global resources – Brand, E-Commerce, Marketing, R&D
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and customers, ensuring successful execution of joint business plans
- Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, facilitating effective communication and problem resolution
- Ensure business processes and standards are followed in accordance with regulations and company policies
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years in a key account management or similar role, within the region
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Experience in managing P&L and developing business growth strategies
- Familiarity with digital and offline sales channels
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proactive and innovative mindset
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
