Recruiting for an enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Porter for this prestigious site based near NN13, Northamptonshire.
Working within a very busy site, the catering department offers a breakfast, lunch and supper service as well as extensive hospitality and functions.
As the Kitchen Porter, you will be
Working as part of the kitchen team and alongside the chefs
Responsible for washing up (dishwasher and manual) as well as general cleaning of the kitchen
Assisting with deliveries
Involved in deep cleaning the kitchen
Assisting the chefs with basic food prep as required
Working hours are 5/7, 40 hours per week including some evenings.
Due to location, it is preferable to have your own transport as there is limited public transport to this site.
Our ideal candidate would
be an enthusiastic Kitchen Porter with a good previous work history
have worked in a high volume, busy restaurant or hotel
have previous catering and hospitality experience (essential)
have excellent communication and organisational skills
be friendly and flexible with a positive can do attitude
be able to work evenings and some weekends when required
