Parkside is a 120-bed, private, non-profit behavioral health hospital for youth that also provides extensive outpatient services. Parkside seeks an Outpatient Therapist to supervise and lead the Mighty Makers program. This full-time position (M-F) offers a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Mighty Makers program, providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on resilience and emotional well-being.
- Develop and implement innovative treatment plans tailored to the needs of children (ages 5-12) and their caregivers.
- Utilize biofeedback technology and the Mightier app to support child self-regulation and emotional visualization.
- Document and monitor responses to therapeutic interventions, ensuring the highest standard of care.
- Coordinate program services with internal providers and community professionals, fostering a collaborative approach to mental health.
- Work as a vital member of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to the success of the Mighty Makers program.
Master's Degree in a related field from an accredited university.
Oklahoma LCSW, LPC or Licensed Ph.D. Psychologist in good standing.
Possesses a strong commitment to patient well-being and safety.
3-5 years' experience working with children ages 5-12.
Previous trauma informed care is preferred.
Must be willing to travel short distances from hospital (with 10-25 miles).
