CNC Machinist

The role of a CNC Machinist will be to operate a variety of CNC machines to enhance the productivity of our organization. The successful candidate will perform, under moderate supervision, duties related to Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining, including machining methods, and tooling concepts.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Utilize personal knowledge of tooling to properly and efficiently machine company product.
Ability to visualize setups and transfer that knowledge onto paper as instructions for the operators to set-up the machine accurately.
Operate machinery
Optimize tooling packages and tool selection
Work on cycle time reduction/set up time reduction
Ad-Hoc Problem Solving
Tooling, fixture, machine ad-hoc problem solving
Set up machine
Read and edit G and M code as needed
The ideal candidate will require:
Certificate Program with a minimum of 6 years' CNC Programming experience
Ability to read and edit machine programming language
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Strong understanding of GD&T
Able to set up and run a machine
Problem solving skills
Sigma/Lean a plus
Experience with HAAS Machines
Ability to operate manual machinery (Bridgeport, Lathe)
Ability to implement manufacturing processes
Ability to perform in process quality inspection on parts
US Citizenship required
