Tohkomeupog is a residential summer camp for boys located near the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The camp hosts up to 100 campes at any time throughout the summer camp season. Camp has a private kitchen facitliy and cooking staff that work as a team to provide for the culimary experience of the campers and camp staff. The camp kitchen is in operations 7 days each week, producing breakfast, lunch, and dinner on most days, approximately 300 meals per day. The camp season runs from late June into late August. Cooks are directliy supervised by the Camp Kitchen Manager. The kitchen team strives to provide above normal summer camp meals and service for a great group of kids and staff.
Responsibilities Include:
Maintain a clean, safe, stocked, and organized workstation according to company standards, health department regulations and kitchen specifications.
Perform shared kitchen team tasks including but not limited to: cleaning and organizing, opening, and closing the kitchen, receiving orders, etc.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and campers.
Stock and use all cleaning supplies as intended.
Complete other duties as assigned in support of the business.
Prepare recipes to order for timing, quality, and consistency.
Qualifications:
Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
Can meet physical demands of position including pulling, pushing, carrying, lifting, standing for extended periods of time.
Ability to pass a background check.
