About Our School Services
With over 30 years of school therapy experience, LLA Therapy’s motto is: Helping Kids Shine Their Brightest! In order to accomplish our goal we pride ourselves on effective and streamlined communication, ongoing mentoring and support, collaboration between school personnel (intervention specialists, general education teachers, other therapy disciplines, psychologists, administration) and providing our professionals with the materials and tools they need to succeed (access to online assessments, shared therapy resources, templates, goal banks, and membership to online therapy tools).
Essential Accountabilities for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Conduct, write, and implement comprehensive functional behavior assessments within the school environment.
Write and implement school safety plans for given students
Support connecting ETRs and IEPs for social and emotional learning and behavior needs within the school environment
Support students with behaviors across all school environments as necessary: i.e., lunchroom, recess, transportation, classroom, hallways, etc.
Support students transitioning back from separate facilities
Provide behavioral support and/or direct services/treatment to students (and aides)
Provide ongoing professional development and training to school staff as needed
Curate, prepare, and make materials relevant to the needs of your students and educational staff to document and maintain positive behavior.
Attend and provide input within educational meetings in regards to assigned students.
Requirements:
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in behavior analysis or related field.
An active BCBA certification and be in good standing with the board.
Current COBA certification in the State of Ohio.
Valid Driver’s license.
Must be proficient in English; reading, comprehending and understanding the English language.
FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire).
Clinical experience in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis, autism, child development, and training.
Professional Liability Insurance, recommended by governing body.
Positive and goal oriented, willing to accept the challenge of new assignments and be able to work well with others.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices.
Must be able to handle stressful situations.
