Job Summary:
Supervisory and Project Management Experience Required.
You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the agency's data reporting, as well as serve as the agency's lead report writer & data analyst; You will work with respective department staff and serve on committees to accomplish assigned tasks and assures departmental goals or objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame by performing the job responsibilities personally or through subordinate staff, if applicable.
What You Will Do:
Provide direct training & oversight to Clinical Informatics staff in order to enhance their skills sets & administrative functions
Utilization of SQL & scripting language, programming and statistical tools to write, execute & analyze datasets
Analyze & interpret datasets; generate visual interpretations of datasets
Be able to independently organize work while working on numerous evaluation projects; prioritize tasks; plan ahead; follow through to complete assignments in a timely, complete, and accurate manner
Conduct studies to analyze complex data and prepare reports on it as requested
Provide interpretation of operational policies, governmental legislation, or customer regulations
Analyze information to determine present and future performance
Identify trends and recommends improvements accordingly
Evaluate complex operational plans, operating data, and financial statements to provide analysis and recommendations
Direct preparation of studies, reports, and analyses in areas such as operations, forecasts, business plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, projections, and business forecasts
Establish databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts
Make recommendations to management regarding cost-saving or profit-generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies
Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding clinical and/or operational plans, growth opportunities, new business planning, trended future requirements, government requirements, and operating forecasts
Research and prepare data reports on the following, including, but not limited to, contract reporting, regulatory and operational compliance, outcome measures reporting, risk management, and achievement of the agency's goals and strategic priorities.
What We Need to See:
BA in Computer Science, statistical analytics, health informatics or other technology related field from accredited college and/or university.
Two (2) years of experience in positions involving database administration and data management; myEvolv EMR experience preferred.
Two (2) years' experience supervising staff & project management post-degree.
Healthcare experience preferred.
