Fitness Quest Physical Therapy is looking for a part time PT Tech for our Port Charlotte office. This candidate will work closely with the staff in the treatment of patients and help with maintaining a clean and safe working environment. This will be a good position for someone looking to go to school in the future to be a PT or PTA.
*Essential Functions*
* Promote the mission, vision, and values of the Fitness Quest
* Adhere to standards of physical therapy.
* Communicate any changes in condition to staff physical therapist or other facility personnel as appropriate
* Treat patients and their families with respect and dignity.
* Manage and operate equipment safely and correctly
* Prepare and clean treatment area for patient use. Perform final cleaning at close of day
* Record treatment/service revisions in accordance with department policy
* Demonstrate ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situation
* Maintain a good working relationship both with staff and patients.
* All other duties assigned.
*Qualifications*
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of one year experience as PT Tech preferred
* Someone interested in going to Physical Therapy School to be PT or PTA

* Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive attitude
* Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling of work

* Ability to complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner
* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
This is a part time position.
