Position: Aviation Maintenance Instructor

Job Responsibilities:
* Provide instruction in aviation maintenance technology to students in compliance with FAA, State and regulatory body requirements.
* Demonstrate proper safety procedures
* See that equipment and/or labs are properly maintained
* Establish and maintain academic and attendance records
* Submit attendance, grades, student evaluation, and all other required documentation and reports per established procedures
* Maintain a neat and orderly classroom or lab
* Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with class participants.
* Work as a team member with all other instructors
Qualifications:
* All applicants subject to a pre-employment drug screen
* Must have an FAA A&P certificate.
* Must have 3 or more years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance (special considerations will be given for more diverse experience).
* Highschool diploma or equivalent
* Prefer prior instructional experience.
* Prefer experience troubleshooting and maintaining a wide variety of aircraft systems.
* Prefer knowledge and understanding of Airmen Certification Standards (ACS) specifically the general subjects required to receive a rating of Airframe or Power Plant.
