SUPERHERO JOB SUMMARY
The Wound Pros LLC staff Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) treats our patients in various markets across Oklahoma. The LPN provides advanced wound care, durable medical equipment, and other services to patients who are in various care facilities. By leveraging the power of Artificial Intelligence, we have been able to heal wounds faster and more efficiently. The LPN will be a part of our company’s mission to heal wounds and prevent amputations in various care facilities.

Director of Clinical Services and Assistant Director of Clinical Services
Senior Vice President of Durable Medical Equipment
Assigned Clinical Supervisor
Assigned Regional Team Lead (if applicable)
Assigned Supervising Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant/Doctor of Podiatric Medicine/Doctor of Medicine
Assigned Registered Nurse (if applicable)
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Abide to the clinical department’s policies and procedures
Perform complete physical exams of patients
Conduct initial and follow-up visits, collaborating with the assigned supervising Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant via Telehealth as needed
Recommend and perform ordered tests and procedures.
Perform wound care procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for a plan of care in accordance with Wound Pros 7 Step Treatment Protocol
Perform a comprehensive plan of care for documented patient diagnoses
Request for Durable Medical Equipment per company’s guidelines and protocols
Recommendations for prescription of required medications and/or Surgical/Wound Care Dressings to facilitate wound healing and/or wound prevention
Assure all patients are completely satisfied, by exemplifying Wound Pros standards for patient care
Patient education and management
Assists with special projects as needed
Conservative debridement of wounds during the patient visit
Application of topical wound care and other wound management products
Notate findings and treatment course in-patient chart, including follow-up notes
Actively participate in departmental activities to improve training methods and achieve company goals
Travel to patients’ homes and/or long-term care facilities will be required, a 50-mile travel radius from the clinician’s home is expected
Travel assignments to new market areas per company’s needs and growth
Meet the documentation requirements of Medical Records Department
Maintain excellent communication with all stakeholders, agencies, patients, and families
Become an expert at wound care consultant treating our patients chronic non-healing wounds, delivering excellent customer experiences
Crush quarterly goals through consistency in providing tremendous care, administering biologic application where necessary for rapid healing rates
Seek personal and leadership growth through participation in departmental activities
Meet metrics designed for field clinicians, including maximizing patient visits, both telehealth and face-to-face, utilizing treatment modalities to demonstrate efficient wound healing and minimize time-to-healing rate
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
LPN must be a graduate of an approved LPN Program
Current active license to practice as a LPN in the State
Must have prior Wound Care experience and/or Wound Care Certification
Full-time experience working in a skilled nursing facility is a plus
Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
Current BLS certification
Current malpractice insurance

Excellent communication skills
Experience working with healthcare related technologies, data, and software(s)

Technical aptitude with ability to adapt, learn quickly, and teach others
Proficient use of MS Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint), Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drive etc.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Must be wiling and able to travel within the state or out of state for training.

Ability to communicate effectively, in verbal and written form
Sound understanding of all federal and state regulations

COMPENSATION
Total compensation potential of up to $80,000.00 per year, plus tremendous opportunity for professional growth and advancement.
WORK LOCATION
As a mobile Clinical Provider, you will be required to travel and treat our patients who are homebound or in long-term care facilities.
