ROLE SUMMARY:
The Inventory Coordinator is instrumental in maintaining material requirements for both Company-owned and consigned goods across multiple warehouses. This role involves working with documentation, completing tasks independently and collaboratively, and managing multiple inventories.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN INVENTORY COORDINATOR CAN LOOK LIKE:
Cycle Counts: Working with the Materials Manager to conduct accurate cycle counts.
Process Improvements: Following up on open inventory issues and suggesting improvements.
Month-End Support: Assisting the Materials Manager during month-end closing activities.
Audit Participation: Joining Full Physical Counts for company and customer audits.
Documentation Management: Reviewing receiving paperwork daily and managing shipping and receiving documentation.
Reporting: Running daily reports to track and analyze inventory metrics.
Reconciliation Support: Assisting with production reconciliations for accuracy.
Process Collaboration: Working with the logistics department on process improvements.
FIFO Tracking: Managing First in First out for Open Stock and Finished Goods (FIFO).
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED required
2 to 4 years of inventory experience within a warehouse/manufacturing setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.
Proficiency in inventory systems; experience in Nulogy and SAP preferred.
Understanding of MRP functionality preferred.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Quick and correct problem-solving skills with information retention.
LOCATION: St. Peters, Missouri
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
PAY: $18 per hour
