As an Outpatient Therapist you will work in a rewarding environment providing mental health counseling.
The Outpatient Therapist will provide mental health counseling services using a variety of therapeutic modalities to individuals, couples/family, Bridgeway consumers, and group services. These services are based on person-centered assessment and treatment planning.

Provides therapy/counseling services consistent with person-centered plan and based on assessment information and medical necessity.
Implements practices to maintain a no-show rates at less than 9%. Provides follow up services including letters and phone calls to no show consumers or consumers who have dropped out of services.
Maintains accurate assessments, consumer centered plans, and other documentation to support the mental health diagnosis and medical necessity services provided.
Provides crisis intervention services as needed as a backup to the Bridgeway Emergency Services Team.
Provides consultation and education to Bridgeway Staff, school personnel and members of the surrounding comminutes to promote a better understanding and acceptance of mental illness and the concept of recovery.
Our minimum requirements include a Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field. Prior internship in counseling is preferred. LCPC or LCSW licensure in the state of Illinois is also preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Employment with Bridgeway is conditional upon completion of all background checks.
