Founded in 2003, Groveton Family Medical Clinic is a primary care clinic providing primary and family care services to patients as young as 2 years old to the community of Groveton, TX. As a certified rural health clinic we have expanded our services to include a complex onsite laboratory and maintain longstanding working relationships with Groveton Nursing Home, Law Enforcement and the local school system.
*What You’ll Be Doing*
The Outpatient Therapist is responsible for providing and coordinating all aspects of patient psychosocial needs, and will work within an interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate treatment.
The successful candidate will be able to:
* Conduct clinical psychosocial assessments
* Implement and manage treatment plan
* Provide therapeutic counseling sessions for patients
* Effectively respond to patients, family members in a positive and timely manner
* Collaborate with mid-level provider managing medication treatments for patients
* Communicate information to doctors and other medical professionals
* Diagnose and treat patients with substance abuse problems
* Perform any and all other duties as assigned
*What We’re Looking For*
* Must have one of the following active licenses in the state of Texas
A. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
B. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
C. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
* 2+ years of experience the behavioral health services field, preferred
* Excellent PC Skills, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
* Ability to thrive in a busy clinic setting and maintain a passion to help those in need
* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required
* Work independently, requiring minimal or no oversight and guidance
