Cogir Senior Living (formerly Cadence Living) is hiring a friendly, customer-focused, and energetic Dining Room Manager to supervise the restaurant operations in our premier retirement community Acoya Troon Senior Living.
As a Dining Room Manager in our community restaurant, you will help train team members, help create an incredible dining experience with our residents, build relationships, and consistently deliver the service a guest would expect in their favorite restaurant. You will be managing the dining staff, filling in shifts resulting from call-offs, supporting the flow of service, greeting residents and guests, accommodating special requests, resolving complaints, filing company reports, ordering supplies, and making sure the dining area is clean and organized.

What will you do as a Dining Room Manager?
Direct and manage all food and beverage staff for front-of-house operations.
Ensure resident satisfaction through a top-notch dining experience.
Prepare weekly schedules, adjust for community events, and maintain budget controls.
Assist in maintaining all departmental documentation according to State and Federal regulations.
Assist with menus and meal preparations, including family and department events and catering menus.
Assist in the maintenance of inventory control of food, alcohol, supplies, and equipment.
Cover shifts resulting from call-off.
Monitor all food handling procedures.
Provide a safe and comfortable work environment, while adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Team player attitude and love working with people!
A minimum of 4 years of full-cycle food service experience in an upscale dining environment is required.
2 years of supervisory or front-of-house management experience is preferred.
Assist with financial goals through proper staffing and inventory control
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High degree of accuracy in all assignments with the ability to manage time effectively
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Food Handler Card/Serve Safe (or ability to obtain) with an understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes.
Availability to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
Previous experience working in Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC), or Senior Living is a plus!
