The primary function of this job is to be available and flexible to float to various sites throughout Legacy Health System and provide patient care. Participates as a member of the health care team in cooperation with and under the direction of a clinical manager or designee as defined by the relevant Standards and Scope of Practice for the Registered Nurse.
The RN Resource Team assesses, analyzes, plans, implements and evaluates patient care following established patient care standards for Legacy Health including those for patient assessment and transfer.
This job is paid at a flat rate plus appropriate differentials while working.
This position will float to Randall Children's Hospital - PICU, NICU and Pediatric Floors and Salmon Creek NICU.
*Qualifications:*
*Education:* As required by licensure. BSN or degree in progress strongly preferred. BSN may be required for specific assignments; experienced RNs without a BSN may be hired based on clinical experience with approval of the site CNO.
*Experience: *
Three years registered nursing experience required.
Additional requirements if assigned to Operating Room: A minimum of three years of recent Operating Room experience required.
Three years pediatric nursing experience required (NICU, PICU, Children’s Emergency Department and/or Pediatrics). PALS required. NRP required within 6 months of hire.
Additional clinical experience requirements may vary dependent upon the specific department in which the position is utilized.
*Knowledge/Skills: *
Demonstrated ability of positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians and the community. Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
*Licensure:*
Both Oregon and Washington state RN licensure required. AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required. PALS required. NRP required within 6 months of hire.

Pay: $74.24 - $74.25 per hour
