Our animals’ well-being and comfort are always priority with our staff. We are hiring for the following jobs at one or more of our locations in Richmond and Glen Allen, Virginia. Requirements for this position include a positive attitude, a strong attention to detail, strong work ethic, ability to work unsupervised, ability to lift 40lbs and be on your feet for extended times, be familiar with small/large dog breeds and dog behavior, be able to work individually and as part of a team, be friendly, have compassion for and love our dogs as if they were your own.
Kennel Attendant duties will include: walking dogs, feeding and medicating, rotating dogs outside to play, supervising dogs while outside, cleaning kennels and playrooms (including poop, pee, vomit), dusting, doing laundry, washing bowls and mopping. Experience bathing and cutting nails is a plus. Experience in a kennel or vet’s office is preferred. One weekend day and most holidays are required.
