We have a role open for BMS Project Manager who will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery within their designated region, from undertaking sales to operations handovers, and post completion support. This is a varied role, that will offer a different working day one to the next, and will work alongside the customer, account management, and project engineering teams. What we offer: Competitive salary & a bonus plan Comprehensive benefits package including company car, pension, medical, life assurance, employee assistance program, employee referral scheme, employee discounts including high street brands, cycle 2 work scheme and discount on Johnson Controls security products Extensive product and on the job/cross training opportunities with outstanding resources available Encouraging and collaborative team environment Career development through various career ladders Dedication to safety through our Zero Harm policy Access to business resource groups How you will do it: Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and vendors Undertake a sales handover to interpret and understand the scope of works Overall responsibility for the health, safety and environmental management of all projects within your portfolio Provide direction, control and implementation of projects Be responsible for the commercial performance of the project Monitor, review and report on the progress of all projects to the customer, senior PM, leader and staff Drive standardization throughout the organization Engage with Supply Chain & Subcontract organizations, raising third party contracts, managing project quality and commercial accounts Provide regular reports to project leadership Undertake risk reviews Validate assumptions made during solutions design. Build a detailed cost estimate and scope of work for assigned projects in conjunction with operations. Assist in performing proposals and other customer communications documents What we look for: Required: Project management experience (min 5 years) in the construction industry, with experience in BMS and control systems Experience working on large projects, with a track record for delivery. Typical projects will be £2-£4M in value Ability to manage and influence both internal & external stakeholders at all levels Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word & Project Comfortable working as part of a team, managing remote resource Strong financial and commercial acumen Preferred: Experience working within Data Centres / Critical Infrastructure environments Valid CSCS site card & SSSTS certified High Level BMS knowledge with key understanding of engineering principles Working knowledge of Metasys systems would be an advantage in both industrial and commercial environments Knowledge of Metasys, Tridium, Trend or any OEM BMS platform Experience working within Construction Sites with M&E main contractors At Johnson Controls, you’ll be part of a company that values innovation, sustainability, and professional growth.
