Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Identify, document, analyse, plan, monitor, and control risks across construction and development sites.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on buildings, job sites, and properties to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Provide training and education to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing reports with recommendations for corrective action.
- Maintain and update safety records, documentation, and incident logs.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and construction teams to ensure safety protocols are followed and address any safety concerns.
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices, safety trends, and regulatory changes.
- Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure site preparedness.
- Manage relationships with external safety consultants, regulatory agencies, and contractors.
- Mentor and lead junior health and safety team members.
- Promote a culture of safety throughout the company, encouraging proactive safety practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a health and safety management role, preferably within the construction or property development sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., CSP, CIH) is preferred.

This is a
full-time, permanent position based in
