Job Title: Restaurant and bar Manager
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Salary: €3,300 - €3,700 gross per month
This unique and trendy restaurant is looking for a restaurant and bar manager in Amsterdam. To be successful in this position, you need to be a highly skilled and motivated restaurant manager with a strong background in mixology to oversee the restaurant and bar day-to-day operations. You have a passion for creating innovative and high-quality cocktails, along with excellent leadership and organizational skills to manage the restaurant efficiently.
What are we looking for?
- Experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
- Afinity or previous experience in Italian cuisine
- Proven customer service experience as a manager
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Acute financial management skills
- BSc degree in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus
- Ability to connect with people and to be part of a team
- Talent to empower the team and promote diversity
- Amazing personality
- Fluent in English
Responsibilities
- Coaching employees and assisting in their further development
- Leading the team, acting as a role model, and ensuring a positive atmosphere
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Hiring the best staff for the restaurant
- Good at setting up KPI´s and action plans to reach them
- Participating in the day-to-day operations and demonstrating your strong service philosophy
- Analysing and responding to guest feedback
- Calculating budgets and implementing strategic planning
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
