Job Description: In this role, youll take charge of planning, managing, and executing social media and direct marketing campaigns across various digital channels supportive to the annual marketing plan provided by the marketing team. Working closely with the marketing team, you'll bring innovative ideas to life, growing our online communities, attracting new audiences through meaningful and effective conversations. Youll also play a key role in supporting the paid social media strategies in collaboration with our Digital Marketing Specialist The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media best practices and the ability to adapt messaging to fit the brand and resonate with different platforms If youre ready to make an impact, craft compelling content, and elevate a brand voice that inspires and engages, wed love to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Content Creation & Curation: Craft and deliver high-quality, engaging content optimised for each platform Schedule posts and manage ad hoc updates, including during evenings, weekends, and public holidays Collaborate with internal teams to align content with overall campaigns and initiatives Community Engagement & Management: Foster connections by responding to comments and messages in collaboration with the customer support team Address consumer concerns, coordinate with relevant departments, and recommend solutions Navigate sensitive topics by determining when and how to engage with customers professionally Paid Social Media and Campaign Management Work alongside the digital marketing team to execute paid social media campaigns Plan and coordinate the launch of major social media initiatives and content rollouts Performance Tracking and Insights Monitor and report on key social media metrics, providing actionable insights and direct marketing analytics to improve engagement and ROI Identify pathways to monetisation and align efforts with broader business goals by being innovation and proactive Trend Analysis & Innovation: Keep informed about emerging trends in social media, content marketing, and digital communication strategies Regularly experiment with new platforms, and e-commerce such as Amazon and TikTok Shop to enhance social media performance and audience engagement Skills and Qualifications: Experience building brand engagement on social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube) Experience with email marketing platforms Experience with Google Analytics and social media reporting tools Contact Jade Lee Geldenhuys on jageldenhuyscommunicate.co.za or 021 418 1750 , quoting the Ref: CTD000001.
