My client is seeking a motivated and experienced Logistics and Route Optimisation Coordinator to enhance their operations and contribute to their mission of delivering best-in-class logistics solutions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimising routes, managing fleets, and ensuring seamless communication with clients and team members. Key Responsibilities: Route Planning & Optimization: Plan and optimize routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Analyze route performance and recommend continuous improvements. Fleet Monitoring & Driver Coordination: Monitor and track fleet movements to ensure operational effectiveness. Manage and coordinate drivers to maintain schedules and compliance. Communication & Reporting: Act as a key liaison between clients, mechanics, and internal teams. Prepare regular fleet and logistics reports for management. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within logistics operations. Implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Minimum Qualifications & Experience: Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics. 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the mining or transport logistics industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Assertive and firm, with the ability to handle dynamic environments effectively.
