We seek a skilled and experienced Senior Database Administrator to join our client's growing IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and maintenance of the organization's database systems
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, including installation, upgrades, configuration, and performance tuning
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans.
- Design and implement database solutions to support business requirements.
- Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards and procedures
- Provide administration of database systems including installation, upgrades, configuration, migration, consolidation, monitoring, tuning, and maintenance
- Testing new versions of the database management system (DBMS)
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator with SQL Server.
- Completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., 1 MCSA, MCDBA).
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server administration, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and security.
- Experience with SQL Server 2014, 2017, 2019 or later.
- Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
- Experience with database backup and recovery strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
