Support the Executive Chef by following pre-set menus and ensuring consistent quality.
Manage and inspire the kitchen team, promoting teamwork and maintaining discipline.
Alternate between lodge and villa kitchens, delivering a variety of dining experiences, including à la carte, family-style, and baked goods.
Oversee stock-taking procedures and ensure kitchen administration is accurate and efficient.
Work flexible split shifts and adapt to changing demands.
Uphold high standards across all culinary areas, including hot kitchen, cold kitchen, desserts, breads, and more.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in luxury lodge kitchens.
- Strong leadership qualities and ability to manage a team effectively.
- Calm, organized, and adaptable under pressure.
- A true team player with a positive, feedback-oriented attitude.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all culinary disciplines.
- Availability to work flexible hours and split shifts.
