We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic enterprise-wide projects within the banking sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing & co-ordinating the activities of enterprise-wide projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished and to develop project plans specifying goals; strategy; staffing; scheduling; identification of risks; contingency plans and allocation of available resources; in line with the business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide project plans, including project objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure project goals align with business strategy and objectives.
- Identify and prioritize projects, allocating resources accordingly to meet business requirements.
- Develop and manage project schedules, including task assignments, dependencies, and milestones.
Project Leadership and Coordination:
- Lead and motivate project teams, including project managers, team leaders, and subject matter experts.
- Foster a collaborative environment, promoting open communication and constructive feedback among team members.
- Identify and resolve conflicts, issues, or obstacles that may impact project delivery.
Risk Management and Contingency Planning:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as necessary.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize project delays, cost overruns, or scope creep.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Resource Allocation and Management:
- Develop and implement resource allocation plans, ensuring effective use of project resources.
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and forecasting costs.
- Develop and maintain project metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Stakeholder Management:
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and vendors.
- Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Identify and manage stakeholder expectations, needs, and concerns.
Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure project compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Develop and implement project governance frameworks, including project management offices (PMOs) and project steering committees.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
Knowledge Management and Continuous Improvement:
- Maintain and improve project management processes and methodologies.
- Share knowledge, expertise, and best practices with project team members and stakeholders.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, project management, or engineering.
- Master's degree or PMP certification preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple project teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with project management software, such as Trello, Asana, or Jira.
