Clinical Pharmacist Opportunity – On-Site Role (MK44)Company: MCG HealthcareLocation: MK44, BedfordshireMCG Healthcare is offering a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established general practice as a Clinical Pharmacist on a fixed-term contract.Position Details:Salary: Competitive, depending on experience.Contract Type: Fixed term (12 months).Working Pattern: Full-time, Part-time, or Flexible working arrangements available.Key Responsibilities:In this role, you will play a critical part in improving patient outcomes by:Conducting clinical assessments and treating patients using expert pharmaceutical knowledge.Providing specialist advice on medicines, including side effects, dosages, and interactions.Offering medication reviews and health education advice through face-to-face, telephone, or notes-based consultations.Leading patient-centred medicines optimisation and quality improvement initiatives.Supporting public health campaigns, such as flu vaccinations and immunisation programmes.Managing hospital discharge letters and specialist treatment correspondence.Acting as a go-to contact for medication-related queries.Conducting audits to drive improvements in clinical care.Supporting the practice dispensary operations.What You’ll Need:We are seeking a candidate who meets the following criteria:A Pharmacy degree with at least 3 years of post-graduate experience.Strong clinical and medication knowledge, with experience in a GP practice setting.Expertise in conducting medication reviews and offering clinical guidance.Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and Personal Professional Indemnity Insurance.A proactive and adaptable mindset, with excellent communication and patient-facing skills.
