As a Change Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring all projects follow the correct change control process. You'll ensure that changes to the project are communicated and carried out in accordance with these policies. You will need to be comfortable working on multiple projects at once, as well as deal with sensitive or complex issues such as conflict resolution.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of changes, and proficiency with the changes that impact employees who must use the changes across the business
- Responsible to coach senior leaders and executives and help them fulfil the required changes across the business
- Responsible for supporting and coaching managers and supervisors to help their teams transition through the changes that occur across the business.
- Demonstrates expertise in change management practices with a strong focus on program, project and system governance
- Responsible for managing, monitoring and supervising changes to business processes and systems, technology, job roles, and structures within the business
- Manage and facilitate key engagements with all impacted staff members ensuring that adequately prepared to adopt and embrace change
- Plan and ensure that all change projects are implemented on time, with quality and within budget
- Leverage structured methodology and lead change management activities, processes and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative
- Prepare, plan, design and management of all key communication strategies and initiatives
- Conduct the change impact analysis, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders
- Support training efforts by providing and facilitating the design and delivery of training plans and programs
- Support organizational design and restructuring of roles and responsibilities that's driven through the business changes
- Plan, evaluate and ensure user readiness driven through business changes
- Conducts international and competitor research to understand and to identify adoption of business trends
- Consult with staff members to identify and manage anticipated resistance
- Ensure non-core team employees and end-user perspectives are incorporated into the design of the system and process changes
- Ensure that System usage and adoption targets are achieved
- Support integration of change management activities into project management plans and activities
- Foster and demonstrate a workplace inclusive of creating opportunity, serving others, building trust, innovation, and exceeding expectations
- Escalate unresolved issues that hinder program Transformation
- Develop and manage relationships with various stakeholders and communication channels in the organization
- Manage relationships with subject matter experts to make sure content is accurate
- Accountable for delivering content assets that are accurate, timely, high-quality and to the group and business unit style across the business
- Ensure that change management strategy aligns with overall company goals and vision
- Advise and engage management on the set targets and associated business rules
- Provides guidance on successful change control processes, initiates and facilitates enhancements to existing processes as needed
- Maintains records of changes initiated by the organization, organizes the change log for inclusion in updates to the change control procedures manual, and is responsible for updating the manual as necessary
- Conducts a pre-requisite review of change request documentation, identifies and justifies expected change within environment
- Monitors compliance of change requests with corporate policies and standards
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field required
- Bachelors degree in Human resources, business administration, Communications or Project Management related qualification and/or equivalent work experience preferred
- A relevant Post Graduate qualification would be advantageous
- 5 years relevant work experience related to project management, change management, ERP implementations, communications, and/or large-scale organizational change efforts
- Thorough knowledge of, and experience in, change management principles and methodology
- Proficiency in business management, statistics, analytics, Project and Change Management skills are imperative
- Experience in large scale transformational projects/Initiatives
