Senior DLT developer for the digital euro

- As a senior DLT developer, you will develop innovative DLT-based solutions for interoperable and secure central bank digital currency.
- This role goes beyond traditional development work – in this case you will be helping to shape the future of European payments.
- You will be responsible for the planning, design and implementation of DLT solutions for both the retail and wholesale sectors.
- You will conduct technological experiments, manage integration into existing infrastructures and develop smart contracts that meet the highest technological and regulatory requirements.
- Your work will not only influence technical development, but will also contribute to the international expert debate.
- You will represent the Bundesbank as one of the leading institutions in the area of central bank digital currency.
- Master's degree or equivalent in computer science or a related discipline
- Several years' experience and extensive knowledge in the development and provision of DLT systems (preferably based on Hyperledger Fabric) as well as experience in smart contract programming
- Several years' experience and extensive knowledge in software development with a strong focus on customer-oriented functional requirements and their implementation
- Experience in API development and the integration of DLT solutions into existing IT infrastructures
- Good knowledge of cryptography, data protection technologies and security protocols
- Experience in CI/CD, version control systems (e.g. Git), and the provision of cloud applications
- Knowledge of analysis and optimisation of performance and scalability requirements for DLT networks
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Negotiation skills and powers of persuasion
- Ability to organise work tasks independently and work in a team within an agile environment
- A very good command of English and a basic knowledge of German
Remuneration and prospects
