Purpose: The purpose of this position is to ensure that the SAP System Master Data across multiple departments and SAP Modules are up to date with the companys requirements for data integrity, accuracy and data governance adherence and compliance. Experience with user tasks and functions in SAP Master data governance & management Identification of improvement opportunities Critical evaluation skills Project management skills Good training/facilitation skills Excellent planning and organising Job summary: To create, maintain and cull all related SAP master data objects, including all types of material master records in use by the company. To create, maintain and cull all related BOMS, work centers, routings and production versions. To extend materials to new Slocs and plants. Responsible for the continuous research and investigations on new/ under-utilised functionality of SAP. Responsible for the Identification of system blockages which slows down productivity. Identification of opportunities to automate. Development of preventative action plans. Link PACK for local market to LOC materials First line support to all users with daily problems, failures and queries to be addressed according to relevant. SLAs and SAP notification. Detail support to specific SAP Master Data users. Investigations in support of user queries. Development of user manuals and procedures. Training of users regarding the use of the system and their specific related business procedures. Maintenance of existing procedures, forms and data repository rules in master data in SAP. Ad hoc adjustments (e.g. mat status, BOM status, follow-ups, etc.) Execution and completion of controls self-assessment. Do daily, weekly, monthly and annual checks on key functions. Active inquiry (research) with regards to the companys strategic priorities. Expansion of knowledge and skills as required by the position. Read and self-study programme courses to constantly update skills. Minimum requirements: Minimum of 5 years SAP experience in Inventory Management, Warehouse Management or Production Planning. Tertiary qualification in IT and/or SAP course would be an advantage Having experience in SD along with QM would be an advantage within a Beverage/FMCG environment Having SAP user experience in various roles would be an advantage. Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs with Advanced Skills using MS Excel. Experience with user tasks and functions in SAP Knowledge of master data governance & management
