We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of interior spaces by selecting and arranging furnishings, color schemes, lighting, and décor. You will work closely with clients to understand their preferences, needs, and budgets to create inviting and stylish spaces that reflect their vision. Key Responsibilities: Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss their design preferences, needs, and budget. Conduct site visits to assess space dimensions, functionality, and existing conditions. Design Development: Create mood boards, color schemes, and space plans to present design concepts. Source furniture, accessories, materials, and finishes that align with the design vision. Develop 2D or 3D visualizations to help clients envision the final look. Project Management: Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure timely delivery and installation. Stay within budget constraints while maintaining the desired quality and design standards. Oversee the implementation of designs to ensure alignment with the original concept. Trend and Material Research: Stay updated on current trends, styles, and innovations in interior design. Research and select sustainable and cost-effective materials when possible. Client Relationship Management: Maintain clear and consistent communication throughout the design process. Provide post-completion support to ensure client satisfaction. Required Skills and Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree or diploma in Interior Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred but not always required). Experience: 1-3 years of experience in interior decoration or a related role (entry-level candidates may also be considered). Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite). Strong knowledge of color theory, materials, furniture, and décor. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Attributes: Creativity and a strong sense of style.
