Key Responsibilities: Sales Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the lubricants, energy and adjacent industries. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and projects to ensure consistent sales growth. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to customer needs. Technical Expertise: Leverage deep chemistry knowledge to provide technical guidance and solutions to customers. Understand and communicate the technical benefits and applications of lubricant additives to clients. Collaborate with customers to solve technical challenges and recommend appropriate products. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure consistent product quality and availability. Act as the primary point of contact for supplier inquiries and negotiations. Collaborate with suppliers to identify and develop new products to meet market demands. New Supplier Partnerships: Research and identify potential new suppliers that align with business needs and goals. Conduct due diligence to assess supplier capabilities, quality standards, and compliance. Negotiate and establish agreements with new suppliers to diversify and strengthen the product portfolio. Market Analysis and Strategy: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities. Provide insights and recommendations to refine sales strategies and product offerings. Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in products and services. Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with internal teams, including R&D, marketing, and logistics, to align on sales objectives. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and supplier activities for senior management. Participate in trade shows, industry events, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and network. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field Proven experience in Key account management and technical sales, preferably within the chemical or lubricant additives industry. Strong understanding of chemistry principles and the ability to apply them in a commercial context. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients, suppliers, and attend industry events.
