We are seeking a skilled SAP Authorization Consultant to join our Global IT team. The ideal candidate will focus on business systems, primarily SAP ERP and Cloud platforms, with a primary emphasis on role-based authorizations, system security, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) compliance. You will support SoX ITGC audits and collaborate closely with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to internal controls.
Professional Requirements:
Education & Training:
- Degree in Business or Computer Science (or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of business processes within the manufacturing industry.
- Profound knowledge and experience in IT service operations, continuous improvement, and IT configuration management regarding roles and authorizations, including Segregation of Duties (SoD).
Skills:
- Ability to manage roles and authorizations within a multi-platform global enterprise operation.
- Solid understanding of SAP ERP systems, especially SAP Basis and authorization modules, and their integration with other SAP on-premise and Cloud solutions, as well as non-SAP solutions.
- Operational knowledge of ServiceNow, Maestro, and SOx (ITGC) preferred.
- ITIL and Project Management certification (PRINCE, IAPM, SCRUM, etc.) is beneficial.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP application operation and projects, preferably focusing on role-based authorizations and SOx controls.
- Proven ability to analyze business process requirements and specify appropriate solutions.
Competencies:
- Excellent understanding of IT Service Operations (ITIL) and continuous improvement principles.
- Self-motivated, team player with strong customer focus and attention to detail.
- Business fluent in English (C1/C2 level); proficiency in German or other European languages is beneficial.
