Key Responsibilities

Security Administration: Supervise and ensure compliance with relevant security procedures and instructions.
Supervision: Oversee guard force members, ensuring adherence to processes.
General Security Duties: Prevention and detection of crime, investigating crimes and conducting crowd facilitation, escort and reaction team duties, working on a shift basis.

Requirements Qualifications And Requirements

To be eligible, you must:

Hold a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
Have Grade A registration with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).
Possess 3+ years of experience in the security environment.
Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office.
Hold a valid code EB (code 08) driver’s license.
Have strong communication skills, including proficiency in English (verbal and written) with proven report-writing ability.
Exhibit self-assurance, discipline, and analytical skills.
Be willing to work shifts.
Obtain a learner achievement certificate for unit standards relevant to all three firearms. This is a prerequisite for acquiring a firearm competency certificate from SAPS per the Firearm Control Act.
Successfully undergo security screening and clearance.
Be declared medically fit for the position via a risk-based medical examination at the Sibanye-Stillwater Occupational Health Centre.
