A well-established company based in Durban, KZN is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Draughtsman to join their design team.
Requirements:
- Suitable Engineering qualification
- 5 years’ experience, with Solid Works or similar CAD Package.
- Knowledge of Commercial vehicles and Trailer design would be an advantage.
- Failure analysis (FEA) knowledge would be an advantage.
- HTM Weight Distribution modelling expertise
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Geometric Modelling using 2D & 3D CAD design software.
- Production pack compilation.
- Manage and maintain the Bill of Material for various builds.
- Project management
- Product design and development.
- Manage spreadsheet models.
