We now have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Prosthetic Technician to work as an integral part of our specialist Prosthetics team based at our Clinic in Stoke-on-Trent, that we manage on behalf of the NHS.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join us as an Apprentice Prosthetic Technician to learn while you earn by undertaking a qualification to become a Prosthetic & Orthotic Technician; you will work with an experienced team who can support and mentor you through this qualification.
As Apprentice Prosthetic Technician you will work closety with your mentor to develop the skills to allow you to use information from our clinicians to produce and modify specialist equipment precisely and effectively.
Key duties and responsibilities:
• Manufacturing, repairing, and adjusting patients' prostheses and orthoses using a wide range of materials and tools.
• Working closely with clinicians, other technicians, and management, to ensure each product meets the patient’s individual needs.
