contribute to the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization through effective cost management and financial reporting. Duties: - Prepare and analyze cost data to determine product and operational costs, including direct and indirect costs.
- Develop and maintain cost allocation methodologies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and improve cost efficiency.
- Monitor and report on variances between actual and budgeted costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational performance and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Qualifications & skills: - BCom and Honours degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a financial services industry environment is essential.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, budgeting, and financial analysis.
