Location: Dorking (MUST HAVE DRIVING LICENCE!)
Monday to Friday 8:00 till 16:30
12.25 to 12.50 depending on experience
About the client
Our client, a global manufacturer based in Dorking is looking for a Goods in Warehouse Operative to join their team. You will be a valued part of the ever-growing team and become part of a long-standing successful business.
Responsibilities of Goods in Warehouse Operative:
- Manage and enter data for goods received
- Checking deliveries against order forms
- Labelling of products
- Assigning stock in required locations
- Perform physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment
- Performs a variety of coordinating, routing and material handling duties.
- Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
- Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
- Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
Skills and Aptitude Profile:
- Previous experience working within Goods In
- FLT licence is essential
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible individual (adapt to differing situations)
- Computer literate with the ability to input and retrieve
- Full UK driving Licence due to the location of the site
- Good level of written and verbal communication skills
