Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist – Development Opportunity
Location: Copper Fields School, Cornwall, South West
Salary: Up to £45,000 FTE, dependent on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only, 41 weeks
Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle required

This is a really exciting time to join our new clinical team supporting the
school. With experienced Speech and Language Therapists working across the
South West locality, clinical supervision available internally and our £2000
CPD incentive (following successful completion of probation period), this post
will offer the successful applicant an opportunity to develop their specialism
in working with autistic children and young people, including those who have
experienced trauma.
We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our clinical
division, working collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and
intervention plans for our pupils with developmental trauma, autism, ADHD,
complex and SEMH needs
About the role
You will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our pupils in
their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.
Undertaking all aspects of Speech and Language Therapy clinical duties, you
will adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carrying out individual
assessments and interventions, and preparing relevant documentation, including
writing reports. In addition, you will provide information and training to
staff, commissioners and other agencies, as required.

Coming Soon! Copper Fields School is a brand-new specialist school in
Gunnislake, Cornwall for autistic young people aged 4 – 16.

Essential Criteria:

Recognised and relevant Speech and Language Therapist degree

Valid and up to date HCPC registration

Sensory qualification
-
Experience working with Children and Young People
-
Experience of working within an educational setting would be advantageous
-
Valid full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
