Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish and implement department procedures, modifying as necessary.
- Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
- Oversees cash flow management.
- Responsible for month-end close and all account reconciliations to provide an accurate financial representation of the company.
- Prepares and monitors budget, with input from all departments.
- Provides management with timely reviews of the organization’s financial status and progress in its various programs and activities.
- Prepares and reviews financial statements.
- Reviews and audits company accounts for consistency and accuracy.
- Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies.
- Establishes relations with banks, financial institutions, and international suppliers.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Postgraduate Hons in Bcom Accounting or BAcc Accounting
- 3 years experience in managing teams in a medium sized organization
- Must be a qualified CA(SA)
